Attention: 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students!
Would you like to have a voice in decisions that help shape Black Mountain Middle School? We are looking for two responsible and dedicated students to serve on our School Site Council.
The School Site Council brings together students, parents, teachers, staff, and administrators to review school goals, discuss student needs, and help determine how certain school funds are used. As a student representative, you will share ideas and provide an important student perspective on how we can make Black Mountain an even better place to learn.
Student representatives serve a two-year term and attend approximately three to five meetings during the year. Meetings will be held from 3:15–4:15 p.m., either in person or on Zoom.
If you are interested, please pick up an application from Mrs. Coble in the Front Office. Applications are due Monday, August 24. If you have questions, please see Mr. Bales or Mrs. Gonzalez.
